Cleansing the Earth

The earth will be cleansed of the evil that has been in control and then God’s Kingdom will be restored. This will then usher in the period called the Millenium. One Thousand years of God’s Kingdom on earth.
A good place to begin a study of what happens, is in the book of Micah. Micah chapter 5 specifically talks about the cleansing that will take place.
Not everyone will be satisfied with Godly rule.
Why does any of this occur?
A complete study of scripture will detail God’s patience with man. Including His dealings with His chosen people the Jews. Through the prophets God stated that He would not always hold back His hand of judgment. He has given man time and now it is the DAY OF THE LORD.
What happens when the Lord arrives?
Isaiah Chapter 34 and Isaiah Chapters 62-63 describe God’s wrath and vengeance.
Isaiah 66:15-16 “For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
Now the CLEAN-UP Begins….
Jesus Christ and God the Father are here on the planet and are the Generals in control of what events happen and the timing of when.
MILITARY FORCES OF GOD

A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.

Battle of ARMAGEDDON
This battle is often the sole study of many studying the End Times. The word “Armageddon” itself has become infamous in our culture today and used often in reference to other things.
The forces of this world will be in the Valley of Megiddo to meet the forces of God. Valley of Megiddo is and has been a strategic location for centuries. It can be studied further elsewhere.
There are several events besides just the Battle at Megiddo that occur at the Second Coming of Jesus or the “Day of the Lord”. All Evil will be totally cleansed from the face of the earth before the day is over.

EVENTS OF THAT DAY
Isaiah 13:13 “…I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place.”
Isaiah 31:4-5 He will fight for Mount Zion like a lion on its prey.
Isaiah Chapter 4 and Isaiah Chapter 13
This is a purging.
Isaiah 4:4 “…washed away the filth…purged the blood…”
Isaiah 13:14-16 Eradication of everyone, (regardless of age, gender) that is not a member of God’s family.
Isaiah 13:17-18 Will even make use of the Medes. Stirring them up against evil because they have no interest in material wealth.
Isaiah 4:1; Isaiah 13:12 Results of the day will be the loss of men.
Jeremiah 30:23-24 “Behold, the whirlwind of the LORD goeth forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked. The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have done it, and until he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it.”

Being Fulfilled on this Day
Isaiah chapter 19 - Egypt
EGYPT is on the southern side of the Valley of Megiddo. Jesus will go into Egypt (verse 1) and by the end of chapter (19-22) is seen one of the Greatest Revivals in scripture.
Isaiah 34 and Isaiah 63:1-6 – Idumea
IDUMEA guilt and coming punishment is detailed through the entire chapter 34 of Isaiah. By the time we read chapter 63, it starts out with Messiah walking in from Idumea area with His blood-stained garments.
Micah 5:5b-6 – Babylon – (End Times Babylon of Revelation 17)
Destroyed by the ISRAEL 15
“… then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men. And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: thus shall he deliver us from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and when he treadeth within our borders.”
OTHER NATIONS WILL BE JUDGED AT THE JUDGMENT OF NATIONS.
ENDING FOR THE Anti-christ
We have been given the impression (due to lack of knowledge) for decades that the Battle at Armageddon “wipes out all evil including Satan and the Anti-christ”. This comes due to reliance upon ONLY the Revelation passage that “sums up that total day”. This theory is simply not true unless several books of the Bible are thrown away. Yes, the battle of Megiddo will see billions dead. The entire story is there for the reading.
Isaiah 10:24-25 Israel Promised the Anti-christ’s yoke to be removed.
Isaiah 10:26-34 Describes the military moves the Anti-christ will make as he flees after his power is driven from Jerusalem.
Joel 2:20 (Northern Army=Anti-christ - see Daniel 11:40-41)
“But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.”

These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

SATAN’s LAST STAND
OCCURS - AFTER THE MILLENNIUM
SATAN AND MAGOG attempt to battle GOD
During the Millennium Kingdom there will be humans born. Along with those that survived the events of the Tribulation. These people will be given their opportunity like everyone else to make a decision for Christ when Satan is released for a time at the end of the Millennium. Satan will make one last effort at God and His people.
Zechariah 14:12-15 - describes those who attacked Jerusalem being totally destroyed by a plague that eats the flesh of the humans and the weapons of warfare.
This passage follows a passage regarding the Millennial rule. This passage could therefore be looking at the final battle when Satan is loosed and leads armies against Jerusalem again. Armageddon is described as the flesh being eaten by the birds, that is not the case with this battle.
Four ways the armies that attacked Jerusalem will be destroyed:
- Plague that will consume all flesh, eyes and tongues
- Tumult within the enemy camp that will cause them to turn on each other
- Armies of the Jews shall destroy them and gather abundance of gold, silver and apparel
- Plague will destroy all modes of transportation of the enemy
Ezekiel Chapters 38-39 – Battle: Gog - Magog - Satan versus GOD
Revelation 20:7-9 - Satan has been bound for 1000 years in the pit. He has been of no influence on those that have been born during the 1000 years. Those individuals have now had 1000 years of God’s rule. Will they now throw that away? They will be given a choice just as man has been given a choice today.
Once this is all over. The planet has received it’s final cleansing.
Sin and Satan have BEEN ERADICATED!
