Millennium Kingdom

1000 Year Reign of Christ on Earth

Compiled by WD Kemner March 2025

The End Times will begin with the signing of a Treaty between the Anti-christ and the nation of Israel guaranteeing Israel peace. This event marks the start of the Tribulation period that will last seven years. The Tribulation Period will be followed by the return of Jesus Christ. This will be His second coming.

The Second Coming will be to Cleanse the Earth of wickedness. Once this is completed the earth will have an era of peace that has never been seen.  Christ will rule on earth. This period will last for a thousand years and has been called the Millennium Kingdom.

“…the God of Heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed…”   Daniel 2:44

This document will list the verses that apply to that period.

A study of this period should start with a study of the Book of Daniel.  Daniel’s interpretation of the dream of Nebuchadnezzar lists many nations to come after that time in history. The last one described is the establishment of God’s Kingdom on Earth.

CELEBRATION

What better way to start it off One Thousand Years than Praise, Worship, Celebration for the results of the “Day of the Lord”!

Isaiah 25:6  Feast of Fat Things on Mount Zion

“And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.”

Isaiah 26:1-18  A Millennium Kingdom Song of Praise

Isaiah 27:2-6  A Millennium Kingdom Song  “A vineyard of red wine.”

Overview of the Time Period

Isaiah 11:6-9 Peaceful Kingdom in animal world, because the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord.

Isaiah 23:18 City of Tyre was once a central supply depot, it will once again exist and function as a supply depot.

Isaiah 60:18-22 No need of the Sun and Moon to provide light. No violence. There will be Longevity of Life.

Isaiah 66:18-19 Missionary journeys will be going forth to declare God’s glory to those born during the Millennium.

Isaiah 66:24 Bodies of those that sinned against God will be visible to everyone as a reminder.

Joel 2:28-29 Outpourings of the Holy Spirit will occur everywhere. This is often an overlooked topic when discussing the Millennial Kingdom.  Focus is usually on two members of the trinity. The question can be considered, Why would the Holy Spirit have left after the Second Coming?

Peaceful

Jews will be both respected and in charge.   Isaiah 11:14; 14:1-3; 49:23; 61:9

Isaiah 19:18-25  Millennial Kingdom will see Peace in the Middle East.

vs18   Nations all speaking the same language.

vs19-20   Altar and Pillar to the Lord in Egypt.

vs23   Highway from Egypt to Assyria.  They will serve with one another.

vs24   Egypt, Israel, Assyria will all be close friends.

Isaiah 2:4-5 / Micah 4:3

“And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.”

Judgment and Peace during the Millennium Kingdom. Nations will not have any reason to be at war with one another.

Highways of Peaceful Travel

“SPECIAL” Highways of travel at this time.

Travel between Assyria – Egypt – Israel   Isaiah 19:23-25

In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians. In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land: Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.”

The Holy Highway called: “THE WAY OF HOLINESS”   Isaiah 35:8-9

“And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there”

Jerusalem of The Millennium Kingdom

Jerusalem as it existed on the DAY OF THE LORD; has been destroyed for its wickedness. It had been under control of the Anti-christ for 3.5 years.

Isaiah 60:14

“The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee, The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.”

Jeremiah 31:38-40  City will be rebuilt and locations are given.

Jeremiah 33:1-14  Promises regarding the Jews and the city.

Isaiah 54:11-16  “…behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires. And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones. And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children…”

Jerusalem WILL BE REBUILT and anyone coming against her WILL BE DESTROYED.

The world will bring their abundance not only in material but also labor to help build Israel.

Isaiah 60:5-8, 10-12  “…the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.  The multitude of camels shall cover theeAnd the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee.. Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.”

Jerusalem will have all the manpower that they could ever dream of for construction and defense. They will have abundance of materials. The world will be tripping over themselves to offer to help. With all this love and support and the King present, there will NEVER be a need to close the gates or lock any doors. The world will have around the clock access to the city and its King.

Isaiah 62:4-5  “Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate:”

Isaiah 4:5  A cloud and smoke by day, flaming fire by night will be it’s Defense.

Old men and women shall dwell in safety to a ripe old age, Boys and girls playing in the streets. The Ground will give its produce and harvest in abundance.

Zechariah 14:8-11  The Lord shall be King of all the earth.  Jerusalem shall be safe.  Land shall be a plain.  Holiness shall reign in the land. Living waters shall go out from Jerusalem flowing from the temple city of God to the Dead Sea and the Mediterranean.

The Land

Ezekiel 34:25-29 “…and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.

And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing. And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, …  neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid.  And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land,…”

The land of Israel will be the center of blessed food production and peaceful wildlife.

A plant of renown will be grown that appears will be able to fill all hunger needs.

Ezekiel 36:8-12  The land shall be prosperous yielding fruit and men.

Joel 2:21-27  “Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things. Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength. …And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil. …And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied…”

Isaiah 4:2 and Isaiah 30:23-26  Fruit of earth excellent and animal production thriving.

Amos 9:13  “Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.”

Joel 3:18-21 “And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim.  Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.  But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation. For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the LORD dwelleth in Zion.”

Isaiah 35:1-7

“The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our God.

Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you. Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.”

Millennium Kingdom Temple

The House of God’s Glory. Isaiah 60:7

Temple WILL BE REBUILT.  The Temple that existed at time of Tribulation will have been DESTROYED during the Cleansing of the Earth on the DAY OF THE LORD since it had been dedicated to Satan by the Anti-christ.

Amos 9:11-12  “In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old…”

Established on top of mountain. All nations will go to for training in the law and judgment.

Isaiah 2:2-3 / Micah 4:1-2 “…the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.”

Isaiah 4:6A shadow from heat in the day; a place of refuge; protection from storm and rain.

Isaiah 66:23 “And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.”

Jeremiah 3:16 “…The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.”

There WILL BE NO NEED for the Ark of the Covenant.  Matthew 27:51 – When Jesus died on the cross, the veil in the Temple was ripped in two that separated man from the “ark of the covenant” where God’s presence was. Man now had direct access to the throne. With God himself being on the planet during the Millennium, what need is there of the ark?

Zechariah 8:20-23  People will come from all nations of the world to pray and seek God in Jerusalem. They will beg the Jews to let them go with them.

Zechariah 14:20-21 “In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD; and the pots in the LORD'S house shall be like the bowls before the altar. Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the LORD of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts.”

Feast of Tabernacles

Feast of Tabernacles will be held each year and be required, if do not attend the land will not see rain.

Zechariah 14:16-19

And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.

And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles. This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

AFTER the MILLENNIUM

Following the Millennium; Satan is released “for a time”.

SATAN’s LAST STAND

OCCURS - AFTER THE MILLENNIUM

SATAN AND MAGOG attempt to battle GOD

During the Millennium Kingdom there will be humans born. Along with those that survived the events of the Tribulation.  These people will be given their opportunity like everyone else to make a decision for Christ when Satan is released for a time at the end of the Millennium.  Satan will make one last effort at God and His people.

Revelation 20:7-8  “And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.”

Satan has been bound for 1000 years in the pit.  He has has no influence on those that have been born during the 1000 years.  Those individuals have now had 1000 years of God’s rule.  Will they now throw that away?  They will be given a choice just as man has been given a choice today.

Satan will once again “round up” an army to once again attempt to take on God. The army will be as numerous as the sand of the sea. That many people will say no to the Godly rule they have seen for 1000 years!

Gog and Magog are still in existence at the end of the Millennial reign, because they now join Satan against God.  This is seen by Ezekiel and written in Ezekiel chapters 38; 39.

Ezekiel 38:1-39:22  This is another Battle.  This is described as being between Gog / Magog (Satan) versus GOD.

Many have connected this passage to the events of Armageddon.  This is not the case. A careful study of the passage will reveal many details that do not fit such a timeline.

Revelation 20:9  “And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.”

Zechariah 14:12-15  Describes those who attacked Jerusalem being totally destroyed by a plague that eats the flesh of the humans and the weapons of warfare.

This passage follows a passage regarding the Millennial rule.  This passage could therefore be looking at the final battle when Satan is loosed and leads armies against Jerusalem again.  Armageddon is described as the flesh being eaten by the birds, that is not the case with this battle.

Four ways the armies that attacked Jerusalem will be destroyed:

Plague that will consume all flesh, eyes and tongues

Tumult within the enemy camp that will cause them to turn on each other

Armies of the Jews shall destroy them and gather abundance of gold, silver and apparel

Plague will destroy all modes of transportation of the enemy

Isaiah 27:1  “In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.”

Revelation 20:10  “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”

Satan will be put into the lake of fire and then the Judgments will occur.

Sin and Satan have BEEN ERADICATED!

THE END for EVIL!

(Literally!)

See study on Judgments.
